Meet the Creators: Angela Van Epps

Angela Van Epps plays the stalwart Kit Doolin, in BANG! The Wildest Western Melodrama. But not only is she an actor/creator- she is our project lead! She makes sure we have rehearsals and keeps us in line during the creation process. The idea for BANG! originated while playing Bang (the card game) around her dining room table. Fun fact- she is also an amazing baker. What can't she do? We couldn't find anything, even though we asked her these probing questions:

Who would you be in a Wild West town? Resident seamstress and town librarian.

What do you order at the saloon? Whiskey

What is your Harry Potter House? I am a Slytherpuff, ambitious yet friendly.

Program Bio:

Angela Van Epps has dreamed for years about a Western Melodrama based on the card game BANG! She is thrilled to watch it come to life. Angela has studied and experimented with theatre at Dell 'Arte International School of Physical Theatre, Wesley Institute in Sydney, Australia, and Bethel University. By day Angela assists at a local elementary school, by night she sews, reads, creates theatre, and plays board games. All of her recent adventures have been made possible by the immense support of Chase Van Epps, her husband on and off stage.
